Approximate Hat Measurement Size Guide
Infants to 3 months 14 inch measurement
3-6 months 16 inch measurement
6-12 months 16-18 inch measurement
1-2 years 18-19 inch measurement
2-4 years 19-20 inch measurement
5 years up 21-22 inch measurement
Measuring Head Circumference for Hat Size
Use a cloth measuring tape or a string that can be measured on a yard stick or ruler
measure 1 inch above eyebrow all the way around the head at widest point in the back of the head and around to the front edge of the tape.
The knit fabric has the ability to stretch and give a bit so I usually round off the measurement to the lower whole inch, 14 ½ inches would round off to a 14 inch measurement.
