The Lady of the Green Wood

This one of a kind hand-knitted goddess art doll represents the gorgeous forests in my Oregon home. She was knitted with 100% Peruvian Highland Wool hand-dyed by http://www.etsy.com/shop/rainsews. Inside the goddess, a silk pouch holds dried Douglas Fir needles, Western Red Cedar needles, Oak leaves, and tiny acorns. She is hand embroidered in cotton thread with a leaves and ferns motif, and is embellished with glass leaf-shaped beads. Hours of hand-stitching went in to this beauty.
