Nothing’s better than when you’re watching something fly all over, and then it lands right in front of you! That’s what happened with this beautiful brown dragonfly, a female Variegated Meadowhawk. She’d been zooming past me, when she suddenly landed on this branch overhead. Once she landed, she was in no hurry to leave - she held steady while I took several photos. She knew what a great picture she made:-)
