I take much care in designing these blocks and proudly make them in the tiny workshop of my loft where I live. My 'apprentice', as I call her, is Walnut - a sassy little weiner dog who keeps me company while I work (I'm thinking of demoting her since she's developed an affinity for eating sawdust)!

These blocks are not painted; they are tinted with a lovely honey-colored stain and then lacquered to protect and enhance the natural qualities of the wood. These blocks are rustic, so there may be knots, gnarls, and slight imperfections in the wood, which just adds to the primitive charm.

My prices include: wood selection, cutting, sanding, branding, torched edges, several applications of stain and lacquer, and a clear coat matte spray finish.
