Who's Mickey Mantle?
Mickey Mantle was one of baseball's all time greats. Mantle played for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, 16 of which he played as an All-Star. While playing for the Yanks Mantle won 7 World Championships and 3 MVP awards. Mantle won the American League Triple Crown in 1956 and is often considered the greatest switch hitter ever.
This multi-color design was inspired by vintage tobacco cards of the late 1800s and early 1900s. This design features Mantle in the foreground, bat in hand, in his New York Yankees uniform set against a bright blue and yellow background. The "card" has a very vintage and distressed look. We will remember Mantle as the kid from Commerce who became a fan favorite in the Big Apple. As he says, he's what this country is all about.
