"Carmela, the Cat" - This kitty cat pull toy was inspired by vintage toys and "Day of the Dead", it's ideal for the alternative parent or young at heart! This piece is hand cut and crafted from my original design. Carmela wears a flower garland around her neck. She stands on a wood base that features colorful flowers and dotted embellishments. Carmela's skeletal image is hand painted on both sides of the toy. The wheels spin, allowing for her to be pulled along by a soft, yet durable, nylon cord (the cord is doubled up and securely knotted, please see pic). The base measures 6" long x 5" wide, and the toy is 7.5" tall. This wood piece has been fully sealed in a non-toxic, matte sealant for protection and a lasting vibrancy. Designed for normal play, but please keep this piece away from water and rough play. Signed on the bottom by the artist (me).

This pull toy will be carefully packaged, and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

*A word about Day of the Dead*
Celebrated November 1st and 2nd, "Dia de Los Muertos" is a colorful religious festival in Mexico that is deeply rooted in thousands of years of tradition. It's a profoundly significant cultural event and a unique holiday characterized by special foods and offerings. What at first may appear to outsiders as a bizarrely macabre celebration is actually an important family ritual that recognizes the cycle of life that is the human experience.

Please know that I love children and animals, and my toys are crafted with this holiday in mind.
