Birches: Letterpress Art Print from the 'Snow is in the Air' collection

The design for this limited edition print "Birches" was inspired by a nighttime back packing trip in the snowy mountains. What a surreal experience... the snow and tree trunks almost glowing and the dark, dark blue and starry sky. Crisp and calm.

Each piece is printed on handmade ultra-thick 5x7" paper designed evoke the texture and reflective quality of snow. A vintage letterpress was used to blind deboss the paths and print the blue sky, branches, bark and limbs.
