What a great size and a great example of classic California pottery! This plaid pattern is commonly associated with Robert Maxwell who worked for Treasure Craft's Pottery Craft division for a brief period of time. There are no markings that confirm whether this is an actual Robert Maxwell piece. Whether it is or it isn't, it's still a neat piece. It is approximately 7 1/4 inches in diameter and approximately 3 inches tall without the lid. The lid seems small for the casserole. However, the plaid glaze pattern matches up perfectly so there's no doubt that this is the actual lid for the casserole. The glaze work is kind of sloppy but in a really cool way. It's in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or damage that I can find.
