Who's Wee Willie Keeler?
Willie "Wee Willie" Keeler's professional baseball career spanned almost two decades; the majority of the time spent playing for the Baltimore Orioles, the Brooklyn Superbas, and the New York Highlanders. Keeler had a .341 lifetime batting average and is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. This print was inspired by vintage tobacco cards of the late 1800s and early 1900s.
This print features Keeler in the foreground in his New York Highlanders uniform set against a bright blue and green background. The "card" has a very vintage and distressed look. Keeler reminds us that one of the keys to success not only in baseball, but in life in general, is to know our strengths and to play off of them.
