Step 1:
***CHOOSE YOUR TUBING!***
1/2" 125psi (aka superlight) - Great for kids hoops(Ages 12 and under), slender figures, advanced hooping, poi hooping and double hoops.
3/4" 100psi (aka dance weight) - Great for jumping right into hoop dance. A great all around hoop for learning tricks and general hoop dance.
Step 2:
*CHOOSE YOUR DIAMETER*
Most general hoopers prefer a hoop 42"-44" in diameter.
You can also use the solar plexus method to choose your diameter: Take a measurement from you solar plexus to the floor.

28" is the smallest.
40" is the largest.
28"-35" - Ideal for kids hoops, poi hoops, isolation hoops, double hoops and advanced hoopers.
36"-40" - Ideal for most intermediate hoopers and beginners looking for a smaller hoop or that have a smaller body frame.

34" is the smallest.
44" is the largest.
General Sizing Guidelines:
34"-35" - Ideal for kids hoops, poi hoops, isolation hoops, double hoops and advanced hoopers.
36"-41" - Ideal for most intermediate hoopers and beginners looking for a smaller hoop or that have a smaller frame.
42"-44" - Ideal for most hoopers. A measurement inbetween here is a great all around hoop for almost anybody.
