Each starburst block is pieced improvisationally to create this fun, bright and playful quilt. The backing is a coordinating Amy Butler polka dot in green, and I've done some nice straight line quilting. The lines meet in a few places to create a subtle starburst pattern.
It's been bound in a great solid purple. As always, the binding is handsewn to the backing for an invisible finish.
This quilt measures about 36" square and I think it would make a really wonderful baby quilt, playmat, or wall hanging!
