I was inspired by artist Glen Ligon to overprint the alphabet. I wanted to experiment with a number of passes through the press and a variety of colors.

The variations in inking creates interesting alphabetical patterns. Be assured, there are no typos on this poster. My daughter sang the alphabet in every color as it came off the press to make sure that the letters are in the correct order.
