This is what you can make with this new sewing pattern / tutorial:
The bag part is 11"x7"x2.5"
It is fully lined and has a zipper closure.
Two strap options are a wristlet style short strap or a long adjustable strap that goes from fanny pack or stroller pack to cross body wear.
The changing pad part is about 28"x18"
It folds to the same size as the bag and sits snugly behind it when folded.
The pad and bag attach to one another to solve the problem of where to set the wipes when you are out and about with baby and need to change them.
The zipper opens up to give you access to the wipes even when the pad is folded for all of those other times you need them.
This item cleverly turns any tote or backpack into an instant diaper bag in disguise.
As I wrote this pattern, I realized what a vast amount of my sewing skills an techniques went into this one item. Everything is explained in detail and I am available via email to answer questions.
You will need some equipment that is common to quilters, but may not be in your sewing room already. Those items are:
*cutting mat
*24" long(or longer)quilter's ruler
*rotary cutter
*zipper foot for your sewing machine
*Walking foot for your sewing machine
This pattern includes cottage licensing, so you can make them for sale. I have also included printable packaging for those of you who want to make them and sell them.
This is a great item for boutiques. There are so many wonderful fabrics out there to make eye catching bags that will get snatched up by savvy moms.
