This sewing pattern has been adapted from the traditional Japanese folded owl. It is a very simple pattern, step by step, with colour photos. The owl can be entirely hand sewn, however several steps can be done on a sewing machine.
It is a wonderful sewing project for those who only have a few sewing skills. Even for first timers one owl door stop should only take a few hours to make.

The owl stands 21cm (8.25")tall. To make the owl you will need cotton and woollen fabric, felt, stuffing, rice or sand for weight, cardboard for base, sewing thread, pins, scissors, needle (this pattern does not include the materials).
