Who's Lou Gehrig?
Lou Gehrig was one of the all-time New York Yankees greats and the true Iron Man of baseball. Gehrig tragically died at age 37 from ALS, now commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Even when facing the inevitable Gehrig considered himself fortunate.
This multi-color design was inspired by vintage tobacco cards of the late 1800s and early 1900s. This design features Gehrig in the foreground in his New York Yankees uniform set against a bright yellow and green background. The "card" has a very vintage and distressed look. We will forever remember Gehrig as he is depicted here, a man who took everything that came his way with a smile.
