This Ovary is hand cut and hand sewn using pure wool felt and dmc cotton. The stitching on the front is based on a biological drawing of an ovary, then interpreted in cotton threads of varying colours.
The necklace is on a ball chain. The chain is approx 41cms long. The Ovary is 4.8cms by 34cms.
The Ovary is attached to the chain by a ribbon loop secured into the back piece of felt with glue and stitches. The loop is hidden from front view of the ovary.
