This is a brand new yarn style I have developed. It has wide colors sections that fade into one another with subtly. No harsh lines! Due to the extra processing required for this style colorway, the yarn will be a looser twist. Each skein is individually hand painted. No two skeins are identical. If you need more yardage I can do that for you in one batch so it will be consistent throughout.
Color - Cholla
Cholla is a cactus that grows profusely in the Mojave. The varity this yarn is inspired by is called Buckhorn Cholla because of it's antler-like shaped branches. It has striking flowers of yellow green, darker green color on the cactus, and a silvery/beige color in the spines. I think I have captured this beautiful color combination in this lovely yarn. Enjoy!
You can see in the knitted sample how this yarn works up in general. Color sections are not always of equal size. Color shown is not this colorway!
This yarn comes in 2- 200 yd self feeding balls, one for each sock. Of course this yarn can be used for other fingering weight projects too!
400 yards of 100% Merino Superwash Fingering Weight Yarn divided into two skeins. Approx 3 oz total weight. This is a wonderfully soft and luscious yarn. It would be great for light weight scarves and shawls as well as perfect for socks!
