Disastrously coveted, this silk dress rushes daringly into a low-cut back complete with a full length antiqued brass zipper and slight overdose of panache. Chevron shaped layers in the front are trimmed with a dark steel gray that strikes at the heart. Inspired by chilly sunsets and alarmingly simple sundresses from the seventies; this is my modernized take on the past. Made from two layers of silk georgette, it flows and melts around you, making even the most blundering endeavors seem more elegant. Fully lined with a medium weight cotton fabric to keep you decent, the zipper keeps the flighty silk well anchored, so it holds firm even on the gustiest of days. Deep v-cut back invites lingering eyes, while the elastic waist accommodates and flatters. Beware the fully functioning zipper as it will occasionally attract a miscreant or two. Perfect with cardigans, blazers, tights, and boots in the winter, it looks equally pleasing with sandals in the summer. Left to its own devices, it encourages meandering, occasional thoughtlessness, and the surfacing of latent gipseian tendencies.
