I've been working on a series of ribbed glass beads featuring sparkling fine Italian silver, and I love how festive they look. Someone told me that they remind her of the fabulous jewelry by Miriam Haskell and after looking at some of her work, I had to agree!
This set features crystal clear glass heavily encased over crackled silver foil, with blushes of gold here and there, because of the way I manipulated the glass in the flame. I also added a ribbed texture that helps them catch and reflect the light even more. Because it is very easy to burn off silver in the heat, I have to work very slowly and carefully to achieve this effect, but it's worth it!
Dimensions:
* 5 Ribbed Spheres, approx. 12.5mm x 13.5mm
* All were wound on 5/64" mandrels
This is a MADE TO ORDER item. Please allow 5 to 7 business days to complete these beads. They will look very similar to the ones shown in the photos.

All my lampwork beads are handmade by me, Lori Bergmann, in my studio in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. They are immediately annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln for durability and strength, and thoroughly cleaned.
