These three lovely baskets fit into each other and are made from 100 % old linen. The linen is from a very rarely used unbleached linen tablecloth. I made the baskets stiff with some webbing and lined it with a yellow and white striped linen fabric (old, never used, tea towels). The baskets are hand embroidered with a branch of apples going from the front to one side; the apples are buttons.
Fill it with some sewing thread bobbins, or left-over buttons, or some delicious Dutch treat; possibilities are endless !

Approximate measurements:

small basket: 12 x 8 x 6cm (4¾ x 3 x 2½")
medium basket: 15 x 10 x 7cm (6 x 4 x 2¾")
large basket: 18 x 12 x 8cm (7 x 4¾ x 3")
