These Sterling Silver wire wrapped earrings hang from silver plated open loop leverback. These open loops are nice because the earrings can be swapped up to sterling, if desired (The lever backs while functional, aren’t of the same workmanship and quality as sterling silver, but they do work if lined up well when closing their backs!) I have never lost one yet, though I, myself, prefer sterling silver.
