The gemstone is a stunning deep orange-red, suspended in a wire hoop and dangling from my matching shepherd's crook, which I've hammered for a rustic texture.
Overall, the piece is approximately 4-1/4" long. The stone is 10mm in diameter.
This bookmark reminds me of a glorious sunset in Down East Maine, where I live and work.
