Adorn yourself in this one of a kind, freehand painted silk scarf, budding and blooming with lotus flowers in a bright and inspiring palette of aqua blue, fuchsia, petal pink, peridot and emerald green. Special attention has been paid to design in the center of the scarf so that when worn as a shawl, a fully blooming lotus flower drapes gracefully across the shoulder blades.
The 22”x90” length is the ultimate in elegance and versatility – not only is the added length chic and trendy, it’s also perfect for bundling up in the cooler weather. It can be tied as a sarong or cute top in the summer, and looks stunning when worn as a shawl.
The 12mm satin has a smooth, buttery feel and an incredible sheen, yielding rich, mouthwatering colors. The hand rolled, hand hemmed edges of the silk add to the unique artisan quality that you cannot find with mass produced scarves.

---How This Was Crafted----
This one of a kind design was created using a combination of advanced silk painting techniques. Without tracing, I drew outlines for every petal using with a fine-tipped squeeze bottle containing non-toxic black resist, then painted the petals in by hand, one by one. The leaves were created using layers of custom-blended, professional dyes and hot soy wax, an all-natural material that is removed completely after steaming. The scarf has been painted entirely freehand, making this a very unique work of wearable art.
---Care Instructions----
To care for your new scarf, dry clean or hand-wash in cold water with a drop of mild soap. Rinse, and blot dry with a soft towel. When silk is just slightly damp, iron on the backside on low setting. A small care card is included with each purchase.
----Quality---
All of my scarves are made to last a lifetime. They are painted with professional-grade silk dyes, then steam set for five hours for ultimate performance and wear. Unlike paints that sit on the surface of the silk, dyes chemically bond with the silk fibers during the steaming process, yielding the most brilliant colors possible.
