These delicate, lightweight earrings are the perfect items to go with your favourite gothic outfit or maybe as an addition to a Renaissance or Medieval dress. These are also perfect for Halloween!
Part of my Frivolite Gothique Collection, these have been hand tatted in black and dark purple cotton thread entwined together in a Celtic inspired design. The idea for them came from my Isolde pattern. A jet Swarovski Crystal bicone pendant hangs delicately at the base of each earring. At the top it is attached to two silver plated split rings, which then hangs from a sterling silver fish hook earwire.
Each gothic earring is just under 1 inch (24mm) wide by slightly under 1 3/4 inches (42mm) long (including the split rings and bead). A miniscule amount of diluted PVA glue has been used to secure the ends of the cotton threads.
