The Process:
I first flattened the bottle cap to create a reservoir for the resin; protecting and adding dimension to the bottle cap logo. I then added a colorful peyote bead woven bezel to hold the cap in place and further enhanced it with Swarovski crystal and Czech glass spade beads.
The beadwoven neck strap was completed using an embellished spiral rope technique. Sections of magatama spikes are separated by Czech glass rondells, ovals, and carved rectangle beads in a lovely Orange Silk picasso finish. A beaded total completes the design.

Note, vintage and recycled bottlecaps will have some scratches, dents, or dings that show through resin. These add character to the piece without detracting from the beauty of the image.
