I have been creating invitations and announcements for a long time, and I must tell you that these handmade invitations cost much, much less to create than purchasing retail. It's a great way to save money for other important things like... the perfect wedding dress!!!

HOW IT'S MADE
This wedding invitation is designed in a booklet style. The backing stock in a gorgeous shimmering "ice blue", folds over the pages bound with a black satin ribbon, and then folds around the under side on the left, creating a pocket to hold the simple response postcard!
The cover page is a transparent white paper topped with a large hand-glittered snowflake secured with a silver brad. Your names are also printed in black and ice blue along the bottom. The second and third pages hold your ceremony and reception information, and are printed on beautiful and soft-to-the-touch ivory linen card stock - you may choose white textured card stock instead. The response card shown here is a simple postcard style, printed on the same ivory linen. Use it as an attendee list generator, or you may add your dinner entrée choices also! I almost always recommend a postcard response card because it keeps the cost of postage down. Postcards only require a $0.32 stamp, rather than the normal $0.45 First Class stamp (prices as of 1/22/12), AND you don't have the cost of a response card envelope. (You are more than welcome to choose a traditional response card, as pictured, with a matching white envelope for and additional $.25 per invitation.)

ADDITIONAL PIECES are available (size of response card):
- Directions to ceremony and reception venues - $.15 ea.
- Drawn maps to ceremony and reception venues - $.25 ea.
- Nearby or site overnight accommodation lists - $.15 ea.
Each invitation is made specifically for your day, so ask about different options to fit your style/theme... if you can dream it, I can make it happen! Final quantity orders will not be printed until you approve your digital proof.
**Please note that your invitations are made only by my two hands... so orders in quantities of 50 or more require about 4-6 weeks for production (during off-season months, November-March), and 6-8 weeks for production (during peak-season months, April-October) - from order purchase date. Rush orders are normally no problem, but please add $.50 to each invitation set.

As soon as you purchase this listing, please convo me with your information for your sample invitation (ie: Names, Wedding Date and Time, Place and Address of Ceremony, and Reception Information with Times of Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing), or simply add them to the “message to seller” section of your checkout process.
