This is a unique new item exclusively to Turtle Child Studio. This is a wax dip to be used for wax-over applications on polymer clay, air dry clay, and even porcelain dolls! This wax creates a life-like, luminecent quality that only wax can achieve. Wax-overs are not new to doll-making, the look of wax has enchanted doll collectors for over a hundred years!
I have been using wax to achieve that lovely sheen which has been admired on my dolls, and I have never devulged my secret...that is until now. My wax is my own secret recipe which you can now use for your own dolls. The wax creates a beautiful finish, which when used correctly, does not flake, scratch or chip. To use this wax dip is really very simple...melt the wax in a double boiler or in a small crock pot...then simply dip your doll or it's parts. Allow the doll to cool...then put in your home oven at 200 degrees and allow the wax to melt 'off'...leaving a beautiful sheen behind!

The dolls pictured here are not included in this listing, they are my own work and are examples of how the wax, when used correctly can accentuate your doll's skin appearance! Complete instructions for use are included. Two cakes included for a total of 5 ounces.
