Step 1: Pictures
If you don't already have any, take some pictures of your pets or family members. Tip for pets: for best results get down to the pet's eye level and snap a few shots.
Step 2: Order your print
In the "Notes to Seller" section describe your pet's personality, and request colors, props, or anything! After the order is complete, send an e-mail or private Etsy conversation with your pictures attached

Step 3: Drawing!
After you submit your order and make your payment, Joanna from Cute Cartoon Portraits works her magic. She starts with a sketch of your pet with pen and paper. This sketch then gets scanned in and digitized. Through the magic of a Wacom tablet and a computer, Joanna transforms the sketch to the smooth and cute illustrations you see all throughout the site.
Step 4: Tweaks
After Joanna is done with the first draft, she will e-mail it to you. This is where you can ask for minor changes. In total you are allowed 2 rounds of tweaks. You can ask for color changes, props to be added or taken away, etc.
Step 5: Print & Post
After you give your final OK to the portrait, Joanna sends it off to the printer. Depending on size and printing materials, it takes the printer 3-10 business days to complete it. Once its done being printed, it gets shipped to you! You will also receive a high quality digital version via e-mail.
Step 6: Enjoy!
The best step: getting your portrait in the mail! Open it, frame it, love it. Be sure to show it to all your friends and family!

It usually takes about 1-2 weeks to complete the art work . Rush may be available. Contact first.
Printing takes about 2-3 BUSINESS days for high quality paper, 2-3 weeks for canvas.
Shipping takes about 7-10 BUSINESS days with Canada Post
