These oil candle lamps are basic in design, but their simplicity is what makes them so compelling. The color is a warm darkage khaki-grey, with a fine particle granite appearance achieved by grinding the cast stone surfaces until the tiny aggregates are exposed. The steel plate tops are naturally rusted and the entire piece is finished in all natural, non-toxic Tung Oil. This "Rustic Style" rendition is based on the Original Cowboy Zen Oil Lamp.
Each are 3" square x 2 1/2" high. The top of the lamp, is adorned with a steel plate with a center hole into which the bronzed wick holder rests. You will remove the wick holder and fill the lamp with the little funnel provided. The lamp has a burn capacity of aproximately 4 to 6 hours per filling.
The lamps can be beautifully gift wrapped in an all natural papier-mache box with gift card and natural hemp cording. The Gift Option includes a small 3 oz. bottle of clean burning lamp oil as well as the small funnel for an additional $10.00.
The style and design of the lamps is compatible with nearly all settings such as Modern, Eclectic, Western, Asian. Contemporary, and Traditional. Imagine them in contrast to white lace and Shabby Chic.
The materials used to make all of the 3-dimensional items in my shop are composed of eco-friendly materials. At every opportunity I use only recycled or re-used components.
