Superb antique, hand painted, MA AUSTRIA plate. Awesome floral motif in bold purple pink and orange with fine detail to flowers and raised paint work, lovely hand painted gold scroll crest and rim and a watercolor wash background in various hues
This is a medium plate with a diameter of 8.7".
I have used a transfer and heat technique to seal the image into the plate.
This plate can be used for serving. I recommend washing by hand to preserve gold accents and hand detailing. Wonderful display item as well. Great alternative to traditional framed art.
