Some of you might remember an embroidered art piece I did a couple years ago. This pattern is based on that image called, For the Love of Deer. Stag and Flowers and other patterns like this are for embroiderers who wish to create a elaborate piece of embroidered art.

Since this pattern is meant to be stitched on a large scale you will need to enlarge the pattern. This will make it easier to stitch all the detail. Also, I recommend that the blanket stitch that surrounds the Stag be done in a very light colored embroidery thread. This recommendation is especially meant for beginners. Truth is, if you have an idea of how to stitch it, go for it!

This is 1 PDF file. When I receive payment for a pattern I email the customer 1 pattern in PDF file form. This pattern is for personal use only.

TO TRANSFER PATTERN IMAGE ONTO FABRIC: I use a Iron-On transfer pencil. You can also use Fabric Transfer Paper. Then, there is the old method of taping the pattern, then the fabric, onto a window (using the light to see the image through the fabric), then us a pencil to trace pattern onto fabric.
