A collage of textures, this necklace, titled The Chosen, features a pendant made of .999 pure fine silver constructed in a rectangular shape with a rollover bail onto which I've fused a variety of fine silver squares and rectangles, each impressed with a different contemporary pattern and assembled like a jigsaw puzzle. The focal point is a gorgeous dichroic glass cabochon in a wavy pattern of cobalt blue with black. It echoes and complements the patterns in the silver.

I've shaped a raised square of silver to surround the glass cabochon so that it captures it and acts as a bezel, adding yet another interesting design element to this very special piece. The pendant has been heavily oxidized and then polished to highlight all the interesting detail.

I have added a beautiful 18" oxidized sterling silver Venetian box chain with lobster claw clasp to finish off the piece in style.

The pendant measures approximately 1-1/2 inches or 38mm long by 1-1/16 inches or 27mm wide and the necklace in total weighs 31.6 grams.

A one-of-a-kind (OOAK) piece.
