Our disapproving bronc represents a “blanket appaloosa”. His bridle is a “split ear” and the loosened cinch allows his “Denver” style saddle to aid in the dislodging of our strident horseman.
For his part, our cowboy manages to maintain his Montana peak styled hat as he lands hard (as evidenced by his wincing expression). His outfit is complete with a bib shirt, Batwing chaps, gauntlets, and spur fitted boots (one of which is in the process of removing itself as a result of his unceremonious landing.
My bronc and cowboy vignette stands 32” from base to tail and is 28” in length from front of the base to tail. He rocks on my latest internal ball bearing mechanism and as always, my “Rocking R” brand is burned into the underside of the base. Pictured on that base is an image of several cowboys lassoing a stampeeding steer.
While this pair resides elsewhere, this piece is available for commission. The bronc could be painted in the style of your choice and, the fallen figure could even be made a cowgirl if you should take a fancy.
