Inspired by the weathered and sea worn look of some nearby beach huts, this small table has loads of character and charm and happily grabs the eye even in a large room.
Perfect for a house by the sea or just adding some rustic charm.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
When we found this table at our local reclaimers yard it was painted very thickly with white gloss paint and looked a bit sad and in need of some TLC.
We stripped away the old paint work and repaired the damaged top section.
Finish
On the frame our own Beach Hut Aqua Green softly gives way in sporadic fades to reveal the white undercoats and the graining of the beech below.
On the top we have used a treatment of waterbased glazes to create a very authentic driftwood look. "Rusting up'' of the top surfaces of the newly fitted nails maintains the sea worn look.
The frame has a topcoat of low voc matt polyurethane to seal and protect.
The top section is beeswaxed to compliment the driftwood appearance.

ABOUT OUR METHODS
All of our furniture products are repaired using hand tool. Most of our colours are self mixed as we find it the only way to achieve the exact colour we require.
We don't use spray guns, all of our finishes are hand applied using brushes.
