This messenger bag is utter perfection. Not only can you haul a muffaletta or two in it, you could stash your loot from the vintage shops on Decatur as well and go hands free with a daiquiri. Then ride your bike home to the Marigny, never having batted an eyelash. The lining is a reclaimed white on white textured blend floral with big roses and one bag has a cream lining of the same style reclaimed fabric.

This bag sports a magnificent handle that tapers for strength. It is large and sturdy enough to handle your lap top plus more or dangle delicately looking oh so shabby romantic gypsy rose lee.

Did I mention the fabric? It is pictured in burlap canvas. I can make it in burlap jute or whatever you wish(look here for more examples, wool and the flocked linen would cost more, of course http://www.etsy.com/shop/bayousalvage?section_id=5536501). Spot clean or toss in a cool wash, hang dry.

Bag has two interior pockets and secures with velcro (baguettes and cut flowers do not fit any other way- we've tried). It is lined.

Strap is about 48 inches long and tapers at the shoulder.
