Owl lantern in orange, makes a cute cone incense burner too!

Perfect for all seasons, a ceramic owl lantern. Would look great on any patio, deck or lanai. These were very popular back in the late 60's and 70's. The ones I have seen had the entire eye cut out. I'm such a fan of vintage Halloween and made this one Jack-O-lantern style. Comes in a nice orange color. The bottom is ceramic and twists off and will hold your favorite drip less votive or a tealight candle.

I poured it using a vintage mold and used assorted tools to cut and punch holes to create the lantern. Then dried and cleaned, and fired it in the kiln to cone 04. I then glazed it and fired again to make the glaze turn to glass.
