These dark lovelies are named after one of my favorite stories in Greek mythology. Persephone was the Greek goddess of Innocence. She was so lovely that Hades coveted her for himself. One day, the Earth opened up while she was picking flowers and Hades abducted her. She later became known as the Queen of the Underworld.
These earrings feature the darkest and most irridescent rooster feathers sturdily attached to silver chains and strung on sterling silver ear hooks. These are very lustrous and the feathers stick out in every direction, making them appear very full. These feathers appear pitch black in some lighting, and slightly greenish/irridescent in others.
These feathers vary greatly in how dark they are. As such, there may be lighter areas towards the downy part of the feather, which adds to the uniqueness and beauty of each pair. I do try to make them as dark and shiny as possible...

Remember that feathers are a NATURAL product...expect some natural variation in length/width, fluffiness, banding, coloration, etc. I only mail out earrings I would wear myself!
