This is my pattern and sewing instructions for a hoodie.I have adapted it for various sizes/breeds over the years.
The image shows a chihuahua in a size petite however this pattern is a stout (a wider version of the medium) and should fit a jack russell terrier with a bit of a wider neck and tummy. (If there are any puppies/models who want to send me photos.......)
This sporty little hoodie has a pocket and ribbing detail.
Size STOUT fits a JACK RUSSELL TERRIER with these dimensions:
Chest 22”
Collar to tail 16”
Collar 15”
This pattern is only good with 2 way stretch/knit fabrics. You can use that 1 yard piece lying in your sewing room or even an old t-shirt.
I would not recommend this pattern for beginners - it isn't that it is difficult sewing - it is just that my instructions may not be as clear as I would like them to be. The instructions do include step by step photos. Feel free to email me if there is any questions with the instructions.
I will email it to you in the form of a .PDF file. You will need 14 legal sized pages to print out the pattern.
If you have any difficulty with the pattern please let me know!
The last picture is of a boston terrier wearing this size hoodie. I have tweaked things a bit since this hoodie was made. Thanks to goldfishluv for the photo.
