Can be used on a variety of sheet glass, stained glass, mirror,glass tile,Venetian Glass Tile, Vitreous Tile, Vintage China,glass beads,smalti,glass rods and porcelain tiles.
Replacement wheels are sold separately and are not difficult to replace. The life of the wheels will vary with each user. You'll know when the wheels are starting to dull when your cuts begin to look uneven.
FYI...I've been able to use the same wheels for months, sometimes years! The lifespan is really dependent on whether you are using these wheeled glass nippers to cut strictly glass, porcelain and china. Constant cutting of thick ceramic tile will shorten the life of the wheels.
When you receive your wheeled glass nippers, we would suggest taking a small piece of duct tape and apply it to the top of each of the red rubber handles to secure them from slipping off of the tool.
We've tried them all and for the money this one gets our vote! The perfect tool for all mosaic tile and stained glass and mosaic tile enthusiasts!
Always wear safety glasses when cutting glass and tile.
P.S. Suggested retail is $19.95 and if you see this glass cutter cheaper than in appears in our store, there may be a really good chance that it's not the same one.
