A Victorian Revival 1940s locket by Coro. The book motif locket has a detailed face with background cross-hatching, binding on the spine of the "book" and a large, raised oval frame perfect for inscribing initials. The locket opens from the side to reveal an interior with two darling photographs of a young man and woman. The "pages" of the interior also have decorative framing, with original plastic inserts and picture rings intact. The locket closes with a tight snap. The verso of the locket has a buckle for threading a ribbon. This locket is lovely worn at the neck or on the wrist. Some discoloration but overall condition is excellent.
