Here is a guide, * make sure u actually get out a tape measure to find the spot where u want it to sit, and not just the size of pants you wear. That way i can get it to fit you exactly right.
(If its a gift, maybe take a pair of their pants and measure it at the top secretly):

sm : 28-30
med: 32-34
lg: 36-38
xlg: 40-42
**please note that I will add in extra inches for the end part of the belt, and the measurement u provide should be the exact width to where the rings will close.**
This listing is for the large leg pocket and belt only. No extra pockets. It will look exactly as shown.
Large Pocket includes:
•a zipped compartment for flat items; can hold a small drawing book, paperback etc. (the largest one)
•a snapping pocket for anything which may need a bit more space, and u cannot loose
•and an easy access pouch, for things your hand needs to find quickly, (behind the snapped compartment)
•also has fittings for pens, crystals, etc.
Belt features:
•extra loops can hook keys
•loops for pocket on both sides so that wearer can shift the pouch over to left or right, depending on needs.
•belt can be worn through belt loops, or by itself. Good for pants that have no pockets.
Wash in a cold/warm cycle, or by hand. Best to air dry and then fluff in a warm dryer
