These stamps were handmade by me here in my atlanta studio. They are made from a white stoneware clay that has been bisque fired so the clay is still porous; bisqued clay stamps are a terrific way to add a little bit of texture to your clay creations. If you are a potter or ceramic artist like me, use your stamps to add a little interest to a mug or pitcher handle, impress slabs of clay for a hand built bowl or platter, to add visual interest to the handles of a pot, or to decorate sculptural pieces made from air dry clay. If you work with polymer,you can use these stamps to add unique texture to any of your polymer projects... and if you work with precious metal clay you can use them to add that little extra something to your beautiful jewelry pieces. These stamps would be terrific to give to your little budding artist to use on his or her play doh creations and they could even be used to impress fondant and gum paste or chocolate clay! the possibilities and applications are endless!
please note- these stamps are not the exact stamps that you will receive. Some of the stamps you will receive will look like these. The stamps range in size from about .25" to an inch or so. Some of them are larger and some are a different form, but they all have/ make great textures! happy stamping!! I use stamps like these all the time in my crazy textural creations!
***PLEASE NOTE*** i am continually making new stamps and adding new designs to my inventory. When i choose a selection of stamps to send in a "batch", i try to pick a good variety- so no two sets are the same. This guarantees that no one will receive the exact same stamps as anyone else, and that if you return to purchase more from me in the future, you will be getting something different and new!
