Hand-dyed in a single pot, using professional grade dyes in the colors of the rainbow- red, orange, yellow, green blue, indigo, and violet. Because of the single dyepot method, many of the locks have several colors in the same lock!
Average stretched staple length is 4 inches.
Sheep like to play in the grass, and due to the nature of their locks (and despite my best efforts to clean them well), a very small amount of VM may be trapped inside, but will fall out during spinning.
These locks are next to skin soft, and just beautiful. Amazingly pleasurable to spin, or can be used in doll-making, blending, wet felting, needle felting, or any other project you might dream up.
