Heavy and very durable.
All of the fabric was washed before used, and hosed off and air dried in the Florida sun after completion to remove any loose fibers.
I would recommend just to hose off and air dry. I hang mine over the railing outside.No bleach. Lay flat and reshape while damp.
Be careful if using on slick surfaces as it does not have a slip proof backing.
Please note: The fabrics used where previously washed, but cannot guarantee against color bleed if used on top of carpets. I would advise using some type of liner to prevent color bleed just to be safe.
As with any throw rug, if placed on top of another rug/carpet it most likely will leave an impression depending on the duration of it being left down. Best to move around if concerned.Use your own discretion. I claim no responsibility for color bleed damage, or impressions that may occur.
