I cut paper flags from vintage 1940s National Geographic maps to make these customizable mini banners. They're perfect for hanging on a chair back, along the top of a cork board, or across a small window. My son keeps one with his name hanging on his bedroom door. They also make sweet wedding decorations.
**ITEM DETAILS**
Each flag is 1" (2.5 cm) across and top to bottom and can be stamped in black with a name or your personal message, up to 12 characters long. The back of each pennant is plain paper.

**CARE OF YOUR MINI BANNER**
This banner should be displayed inside or outdoors on a dry day. Paper and water don't get along. Also, though this garland makes great nursery decor, please display it out of reach of small children.

I package my banners in a clear plastic sleeve, with a Palimpsestic label. All orders are shipped via USPS within 3-5 days.

**A NOTE ABOUT MY MAPS**
I rely on the serendipity of thrift stores and garage sales for most of my maps. When I'm looking for a specific map, I purchase the lowest condition copy available from a dealer. I never use new or collectible-quality materials in my map banners or garland.
