I thought, what can I make with this??
I then drafted a pattern in a style that I felt would compliment the fabric. I have used a black satin bias to accent the fabric. The black satin is used to finish off the edges, for the button loops, and for covering the five button.
This pair is made of a lovely textured, multi-colour wool blend fabric. They are fully lined in a black sythetic lining.
They can be worn over a boot as pictured or over a pump. They are wonderful for a different look to one's shoe collection!
I drafted my pattern to fit someone who wears- around a size 7-8 1/2 (37 1/2- 39 European) women's shoe.
Measurements:
Length of center front seam- 9 inches- 24 cm
Length of center back seam- 6 3/4 inches - 18 cm
