Absolutely gorgeous scarf in the shades of red from my "Light and Airy" collection. The scarf was created using nuno felting technique when with water, soap and agitation the fibers entangle with themselves and go through the fabric to create the dramatic texture. The colour is one of a kind due to dying process and varies through the scarf. The fabric and fiber was all hand-dyed by me. The scarf is made of merino wool, silk and bamboo. It is very light and drapes well on the body, long enough to wear it in many different ways. Merino wool is very soft and is perfect for next to skin wear. Bamboo has anti-bacterial properties, is environmentally friendly and gives beautiful texture and sheen. Silk gives it a beautiful drape. Please note that this wrap is double the width from my regular nuno felted scarves. Wear it as a scarf or as a shawl. Zoom in for a closer look. Perfect scarf for a cool summer nights.
