The are carved from shell I believe and the color is AMAZING! I couldn't really capture it in my photos but they truly are breathtaking. (both earrings are the exact same color despite what the photos suggest) When you first look at them they appear to be a shimmery gray but as you turn them towards the light they look iridescent with lustrous colors!
The cameos themselves have been set into some antique brass lace edged bezels and I've also added some tiny glass antique beads for even more sparkle!
The earrings measure about 1 1/2" long with the ear wires adding another inch or so.
