You know them.
One is refined, polished, put together and organized.
The other is rough around the edges, spontaneous and slightly crazy.
But they are oh-so good together.
This series of “Odd Couple” necklaces feature a gorgeous fancy cut gemstone coupled with an eco-friendly recycled sea glass stone.
The gemstone is a stunning multi-faceted smokey quartz gem in a briolette cut, spiral wrapped in a beautiful sparkly almost black hue.
It’s partner is a frosty old white/grey seaglass stone, beachcombed by myself from Canada’s chilly shorelines this past winter.
Sea glass usually comes from old vintage glass medicine jars, tableware and spirit bottles tossed overboard by fishermen decades ago.
Natural sea glass can only be weathered by time, sand and tide - man's folly turned into nature's beauty.
I’ve joined the two in union with a teardrop shaped silver ring and suspended them on an 18” fine 925 sterling silver chain with a handmade forged sterling silver clasp.
An unlikey pair. Who would of thought?
The Odd Couple Necklaces come in a multitude of different birthstones and sea glass colours. Check the shop for your favorite or convo me for a custom pair!
