This Fork has an A-Line profile
and has been inlaid with a green turquoise leaves and vines pattern that Kim draws and Stacy carves and fills by hand. This is a time intense project, but the effort is well
worth the final results!
This is well finished and sealed. The only maintenance required would be cleaning with a soft damp cloth if needed.
We make each of these by hand so we will gladly accomodate requests for longer/shorter tines.
Stacy has been a master woodworker for over 25 years and has designed many unique pieces of furniture and sculture. His attention to detail and skilled hands make these hair forks not only functional, fun and beautiful , but sturdy, well balanced and pieces of art!
Kim has a degree in studio art and the combination of her paintings, woodburnings and embellishments with Stacys designs and magic with wood make each of these hair forks heirloom quality and designed.
We use a pattern so that you know if you order another it will be very close to the same shape. We also do custom embellishing , if you would like a different stone or something carved.An addtional fee may apply.
We try to use rescued wood as often as possible, all types may not always be available.

How to care for your wooden hair toys!
1. Do not store them in the sun ,that includes in the car or by a window. But wear them in the sun and be happy!
2. Do not drop them!
3. Do not use them as a screwdriver or paint can opener!
4.They are natural wood, they CAN break…put as little sideways pressure as possible on them. WE do take hair pressures into account and under normal hair updos they should be fine, including lots of hair!
5.Do not let the dog have it!;0)
6.Even though they are sealed and would weather rain ,do not swim or shower in them!

If your hair toy from us breaks for seemingly no reason, please send the parts back and if it is not salvageable we will replace it, you just pay the shipping. If you drop or break it we will salvage it for a small fee or give a discount on a new one if it is not salvageable. We understand that life, kids, pets, and accidents happen! (salvageable would be, for example, to turn a broken 3 tine fork into a 2 tine and a single stick. We do not feel that a glue-up would be an acceptable way to save a fork.)
